Description:Provides quality customer service to all library staff and users requesting computer support with hardware, software and peripheral problems, assist senior specialist and/or dept mgr with administration of Windows, Linux, local and wan networks and other technology related issues in the library system, USD 500, and contracted libraries as assigned. The person in this role will configure new staff computer equipment and software; diagnose and repair hardware, software, applications and peripheral (printers, scanners, copiers, etc.) malfunctions and problems, by phone, online or in person and when necessary, create model images for computer hardware/software for mass installation and training projects.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience mix with certification and equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience mix with certification and equivalent experience. Minimum one year hands-on experience working in computer support and experience resolving multiple issues at once relating to technical difficulties with hardware, software, including desktops, laptops, portable devices and minor networking issues with both staff and public equipment.
